Department Tests

One of the most important functions of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is to conduct Department Tests to promote work efficiency among Government employees.

• The test is prescribed to the employees of State Government/Quasi Government institutions/Government undertakings/Educational Institutions/Local Bodies. 
• The examinations are held twice in a year in the months of May and November.

Time Table   

• Date of Notification: Last Thursday of January/August of the year.
• Written Examinations: Saturday preceding the 2nd Monday of May/November of the year or the earlier working day if the day on which the examination is to be begun happens to be public holiday.
• Viva-Voce: From 15th June to 30the June and from 15th December to 31st December of each year.
