Medical Officer in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi

• Post is temporary: The posts are temporary in category ‘A’ but likely to be made permanent in due course. 
• Pay Scale: Rs. 8000-275-13,500
• Probation:
  • The candidate will be on probation for a period of one year from the date of appointment which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of competent authority.
  • On satisfactory completion of the probation period, he will continue in the temporary post till confirmed against the permanent vacancy.
• Posting: The candidate can be posted any where within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in any one of the Hospitals/Dispensaries/M & CW and Family Welfare Centres/Primary Health Centres etc.
• Private practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited.
• Termination of appointment: The appointment can be terminated on one month’s notice on either side during the period of probation and thereafter while employed in temporary capacity. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi reserves the right to pay one month’s pay in lieu of notice.
• Promotion: Prospects of promotion including pay scales and allowances attached to the higher grades shall be according to the provisions of the Recruitment Regulations.
